Spotless Leopard

 . High Waisted Trousers + Top - Topshop .

 . Primark Sale - £5 .
. Nail Polish - Models Own Northern Lights + Purple Grey .

Casual but Smart outfit...some may call it Smart Casual...evidently im not one of those people.

I ma not somebody to splash out on plain T-shirts from Topshop due  to the expense of them but in this case i exchanged it for a Christmas present i got :3 i know...shame on me!
Anyway im so glad that i got it now! it is the softest top i have ever bought, i swear! I love it and it is a basic grey top that can be worn with almost everything for any kind of occasion.

On this occasion i paired it with some high waisted jeans i got from Topshop also. I bought them recently as i had a sudden craving for a good pair of jeans, high waisted to be precise.
Not greatly on trend right now based on the fact that they were the only pair in all of the store and they just happened to be my size and i got they with 25% off because there was a mark on them! Dont you love it when that happens!

My shoes i got from Primark in the sale! Why Primark have a sale is beyond me; They might aswel just give the clothes away! Im not complaining anyway! I got them for £5. I usually hate leopard print as it can often look cheap and tacky but in this case i though 'What the hay' and got them! They look good with this plain outfit as they add a little something without it being too much!

I cannot explain how much i love this Models Own nail varnish! I works like a dream! Does not take a lot of layers to look good and can go on top of a dark layer to make a deeper glitter or just on the nail itself to look good! (Personally that is how i like it) For best results put a clear coat on top as it can crackle off although it feels really good on its own...rough but smooth... :')It looks just like the glitter that you can put on your nails but without the fuss and effort.

Like a Fox but not a Fox

 . Skirt - Primark £8 // Gathered Top - Sainsbury's £8 // Faux Fur Coat - Vintage .

So im always a little hesitant to wear my fur jacket out...partly a confidence thing thinking everyone will be looking at me and partly thinking that somebody will throw red paint over me...My jacket is faux fur but looks really real :3 I know that would never happen really but i do worry something will happen to it, it is vintage and there is not many of them left anymore i dont think.

I did wear it to a Christmas Carol Service as i knew nothing was to happen to it in the company of lots of old people as apose to on a night out where numerous things could happen :/

When i wore it on this occasion i matched it with rather plain and understated clothes with thin and light materials that would contrast with the thick, bulky coat. I dont know if it applies like double denim but i wore cotton on cotton; grey on grey...so sew me...

Casual Scot

. Dress £28 + Necklace - Topshop .
. Levi Jacket - eBay .
. Tartan Scarf - Edinburgh Woollen Mill .
. Nail Polish - Barry M (Raspberry) + ModelsOwn (Dancing Queen Hedkandi Collection) .

Just a quick throw on outfit that can be made up to go on a night out or just on a shopping trip kind of thing.

This is one of the many Jersey speckle dresses that Topshop are selling at the minute. They are £28 but are very diverse and can be worn in so many differnt ways for totally different things, If it is worn with a denim or leather jacket like myself to a catch up over coffee or worn with a blaser for a meal out or social gathering. Or worn with nothing but a smile in the summer.

Topshop sell this dress loads at the minute with all different colours available, ranging from different greys to maroon and deep green. They are all speckled with a different colour, the maroon has black speckles; dark green with white and yellow and grey with black or white. I was so tempted to buy the deep green one on a shopping trip but was soon put off at the fact i am penniless :')They are all fabulous and i would defo recommend one for your wish list!

I teamed my dress with my trusty Levi jacket that i got off eBay for £8! Not bragging...
Also my tartan wool scarf that i have had for years, a genuine scottish scarf that i got on my travels in Edinburgh but I'm not gonna lie the exact same ones are sold in Edinburgh Woollen Mill all over the country.

Models Own nail varnish is so addictive to buy and i for one am a sucker for a good deal! Currently at Boots all Models Own nail varnish is 2 for £8 and i hold my newly painted hands high and admit i bought 4 :3 The Hedkandi collection is lush and can go perfectly on any colour! Although just a warning it is a killer to get off but worth it!

Late Christmas Post

. Dress - Topshop .

Tad late i know, i know but this is my 'Christmas Dress'... you know, the dress you buy just for Christmas Day and do not wear it beforehand to keep it extra special...yes, well i did not in fact keep to this yearly tradition i have always done as i wore it on a night out in Durham the weekend before. I know, very disappointing...it did ruin it a tad but thankfully there was no mysterious marks or stains on it that you always seem to come across the next time you go to wear it...

Anywayyyy, This dress is perfect for anybody that is a tad self conscious about certain parts of their body. It is a comfortable material that is not thick but not thin, has a little stretch that makes it extra comfortable but not to much to show every roll or fold on a curvy body! I always struggle to find a dress to cover my arms and when i saw this one i just had to buy it! So many dresses are sleeveless and therefore i have to match it with a jacket of some sort ranging from a trusty blazer to a thin or chunky cardigan. This dress goes in a the waist to highlight the thinest part of the body but thankfully is a gathered skirt therefore for anybody who has a little podge, it goes unnoticed...well as much as it can ;) And not forgetting room to breathe after a big meal...perfect for Crimbo Dinner!

Quote of the day -
"What did you get for Christmas? Fat. I got Fat"

. First Picture of the Year .

To conclude, in 2012 i can truly say that i have had my greatest achievements and highs in my life but equally had the lowest. Heres to 2013, I hope it is as eventful as last year...for the positives! So many things to look forwards to including my first niece! Actually starting Uni! And hopefully meeting my goal weight!

So, indeed Christmas and New Year has been and gone...sad times.
The only time of the year when it is socially acceptable to eat around the clock throughout the day and night and never feel any remote hunger for more that 30 minutes; have a constant flow of meal courses for hours and hours...not going to lie, Crimbo day...started eating at 1PM and were still having courses at 5PM only with a brief break for our Queeny's Speech and to recover while the copious amounts of food circulated our bodies...ahh Christmas...Best. Day. Ever!

I know, I know, I have been a shameful blogger over the Festive season and i do not ever have a justifiable reason for it aside from the fact i was eating, socialising and slobbing about watching Christmas TV! (Best TV all year!) Outfit posts are yet to come but thought I would post some snaps of my hold if anyone cares ;)

Ohh Christmas how I love you! Hurry Up next year!! Only 349 days!
